About

Housed in an old building, it keeps a pleasant, intimate feel — a lift, 24-hour reception, and a bureau de change are among the practical touches. The hotel is about 1.1 km from Parque Lezama, and the famous Sunday street market runs right outside the door.

Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast draws praise for its coffee and variety.

8Verified guest“The rooms facing Plaza Dorrego are snug and comfortable, with a bed that made for a solid night's sleep. Staff were warm and attentive from the moment I arrived, and having breakfast included meant I could head out to explore San Telmo without fuss.”
8Verified guest“Perfect spot for anyone wanting to be in San Telmo. Easy walk to Plaza de Mayo and Puerto Madero, and a short, cheap bus ride to Caminito in La Boca — the bus cost just 1.25 pesos. Plenty of good restaurants in Puerto Madero and a lovely path along the water. Security is strong, being right on the busy plaza. Staff speak good English and are helpful. Breakfast is simple but the coffee is great. The room was roomy, with a safe, bathrobe, slippers, and lots of storage.”
8Verified guest“The location was excellent, right in the middle of San Telmo at Plaza Dorrego. We had a nice loft-style room with a balcony over the square. Yes, there's a lot of noise from the square, but it didn't bother us. This small hotel in an old house had a pleasant feel.”
8Verified guest“Great value in the lovely San Telmo neighbourhood — the rates are low for the quality and service you get. The attention to detail is impressive: rooms are spotless and always smell fresh. Staff, especially Pablo and his team, give exceptional service and speak fluent English. The location is fantastic, with the lively plaza and restaurants nearby. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, and some have balconies over the plaza. Breakfast is included.”
8Verified guest“Location in the old part of BA is amazing — lots of antique and artisan shops, and the Sunday street market was fantastic. Good restaurants nearby, like La Cantina del Hugo for Italian in a wonderful dining room. The hotel is right on Plaza Dorrego, where outdoor cafés and tango demonstrations happen daily and into late night. For that reason, you'll want a room at the back.”
8Verified guest“Being right on Plaza Dorrego lets you feel the real vibe of Buenos Aires. Staff, especially Maximilian, were very friendly and helpful with questions about the area. Breakfast was tasty with some healthy options.”
